Here’s a guide on how to install wall panels using adhesive:

Materials needed:

  • Wall panels
  • Adhesive suitable for wall panels (We recommend Soudal FixAll 300kg)
  • Spirit level or laser
  • Measuring tape
  • Saw, multitool, jigsaw or other fine-cutting tools
  • Sandpaper or scotch pad (if needed)
  • Caulk gun
  • Router (optional if you want to cut off the lip from the last panel
  1. Prepare the wall surface by cleaning it thoroughly and ensuring it’s dry and free of any dust, grease, or debris. If the surface is uneven or has holes, fill them with wood filler and sand the surface to create a smooth, even surface.

  2. Measure the area where the panels will be installed and calculate the number of panels needed. Cut the panels to size using a saw or cutting tool, if needed. Make sure to wear protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection while cutting.

  3. Apply the adhesive to the back of the panel using a caulk gun. It usually takes about half a tube per panel. We recommend doing 2 lines about 1-2″ from the edge of the panel and a wavy pattern between them. See photo.

  4. Place the panel on the wall, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Use a spirit level to ensure that the panel is straight and even. Adjust the panel as needed before the adhesive dries. Press firmly to make sure the glue is in good contact with both the wall and the panel.

  5. Cut out all holes for sockets, cables, lamp fixtures etc. (if required)

  6. Repeat steps 3, 4and 5 for each panel.

  1. Allow the adhesive to dry for the recommended amount of time before touching or painting the panels.

You can use brush, roller or sprayer to paint our panels.

Following these steps will result in a professional-looking installation of your wall panels. Remember to always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety precautions when using adhesive glue.
